Android Phenomenon

Maybe its just me, but does anyone feel like Android is amazing? I don't mean its amazing as in its awesome, but more amazing how popular a crappy OS can be! Google manages to slap this stuff together with glue sticks and manage to outsell the iphone a couple times!
Mind you its only a couple of times but it amazes me how shit can become popular. I think its because if enough people make enough hype, popularity catches on. Its just enough people buzzing about droids and such to get people thinking that its just the next best thing!
maybe that explains Ke$shas popularity for about a month? Maybe it is just me, but this whole Droid Does thing is starting to piss me off because I've used a droid, and they suck ass. No really. Get out your iphone (If you own a smart phone, chances are you own an iphone http://www.zdnet.com/blog/btl/apple-iphone-smartphone-market-share-surges-rim-slips/34181) and go to a Verizon store or to a friend that owns a droid. Ok now just try swiping through a couple app pages and you'll see.
 Whose phone has the most responsive touch screen? yours does silly.
Now go to your browser (assuming you have 3G in AT&T's crappy network.) and just go to the apple website. Ok got it? now scroll a little. Oh cool yours works fine, but your friends droid lags a little. Ok now zoom in on, lets say John's face (assuming you looking at the website while it still is promoting the release of the Beatles albums) and WOAH! yours actually works with TWO fingers!!! cool.
Now you can continue playing angry birds and fruit ninja on your iphone and leave.

I don't know. Their slow, unresponsive bricks made of google's spare crap. You decide who has the better phone for yourself. Just please. Try both. no seriously people are really stupid saying that they only need to try one.

And no more open source crap. If google really believed in open source, it wouldnt prevent people for jailbreaking their devices, and letting people keep apps that have been "pulled" from their app store (http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/25/google-flexes-biceps-flicks-android-remote-kill-switch-for-the/)
Ok sure it was a crappy app, but just the fact they have a kill switch is not open source. their saying that because they know they'll believe whatever they tell you.
